Police look for suspects who robbed bagel store

GLEN OAKS — Police said they were searching for four men who robbed a Union Turnpike eatery at gunpoint Saturday.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning, police said four men with guns wearing bandanas over their faces burst into the Bagel Superette at 241−01 Union Tnpk. and demanded money.

Authorities said the men forced a shop employee to the ground and stole an undetermined amount of currency, MetroCards and cigarettes from the store before fleeing in an unknown direction.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
