Dance lessons for kids
On Monday, May 4 at 4:30 p.m., Woodhaven Library will present Dance Lessons for Kids. Four dance lessons for kids ages 6 to 9 until 5:30 p.m. Learn many different dances with a dance instructor. Community book exchange
On Saturday, May 2 at 11 a.m., Broad Channel Library will present Community Book Exchange. Tables will be set up outside for you to browse the books left by others and see if there are titles your child would be interested in. Rain date: May 9. Rezoning planned
City Planning Commissioner Amanda M. Burden began public review for an approximately 300-block rezoning proposal in the western Queens neighborhoods of Middle Village, Glendale and Maspeth, in Community District 5.
This contextual rezoning would extend the Bloomberg Administration’s commitment to curb overdevelopment in the city’s primarily lower-density communities and complement rezonings already adopted in the Middle Village, Glendale and Maspeth communities.
