Feted for years of service

Assemblymember Audrey Pheffer (left) joined the Rockaway Park Chapter of Hadassah on Monday, September 14 at a luncheon to honor Renee Freeman for her dedicated service to the organization.
Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer women’s organization, whose members are motivated and inspired to strengthen their partnership with Israel, ensure Jewish continuity, and realize their potential as a dynamic force in American society.
Freeman has been the long-time President of the Rockaway Park Chapter of Hadassah as well as the Past President of the Queens Region and has selflessly given of her time and energies to the organization, noted Pheffer. As a result of her devotion and commitment to Zionism and Israel, the Rockaway Chapter has reached the pinnacle of fundraising and membership.
