City Councilmember James Gennaro officiated at the swearing-in of the newest members of P.S. 173, the Fresh Meadows School’s Student Council recently.
Gennaro administered the oath of office to the little legislators (from left) Abraham Oh, President; Anna Fitzpatrick, Vice President; Jenifer Zheng, Secretary; and William Gan, Treasurer, during a student assembly on Friday, January 15 at the school, located at 174-10 67th Avenue.
He was introduced by Principal Molly Wang, who lauded his recent allocation of $150,000 for a new school computer lab.
