On Tuesday, August 17, City Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer (wearing tie) joined seniors at the Samaritan Village Woodside Senior Center for their summer barbeque at the Woodside Houses. The barbeque was a part of the free senior lunch program, which is just one of the many senior services offered by the center. Van Bramer secured $101,000 this year to help further and improve the center’s senior health and fitness initiatives, which includes funding the construction of a state of the art gym and exercise room.
