Vissi Dance Theater NYC will present Queens Gala Event at the York College Performing Arts Center, located at 94-20 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 2.
The dance company will premiere two new works, in addition to performing other pieces from their repertoire.
Tickets cost $20 for adults or $10 for students and seniors.

‘Brave New Girl’
The Chocolate Factory Theater

The Chocolate Factory Theater, located at 5-49 49th Avenue in Long Island City, will hold performances of “Brave New Girl” at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday, October 1 and at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 2.
The show is the second part of creator Neal Medlyn’s “two-part Britney Spears/Hannah Montana opus.”

‘S’Wonderful’

The Queensborough Performing Arts Center, located at 222-05 56th Avenue in Bayside, will hold a performance of “S’Wonderful: The New Gershwin Musical” at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 3.
The show celebrates the works of George and Ira Gershwin through singing and dancing.
