We know politicians who are in power want to get reelected and will give away the public’s money like crazy to gain favor with corporations, unions, or just about any group from which they can get votes.
Let’s demand that a new policy be instituted here in the U.S, at all levels of government that’s identical with one to be instituted in Slovakia in 2011:
? Budget deficits of 5 percent will result in salary reductions of 10 percent for those responsible for dispersing public funds.
? Budget surpluses of 5 percent will mean a 10 percent increase in pay for those in charge of budgeting and dispersing public funds.
It’s a brilliant concept and will be a great incentive for curbing outrageous abuse of the United States’ taxpayer’s money!
