Boro residents catch prowler in the act: Post

OZONE PARK — A man and his son living in Ozone Park found an alleged prowler in their home Oct. 20, the New York Post reported.

Hector Bermudez, 51, allegedly pried open the front door to the house, on 117th Street near 101st Avenue, and slipped inside. When the two found him, they discovered a watch, cellphone and cash that belonged to the residents on his person, as well as a screwdriver, the Post said.

Bermudez confessed to the break-in and was charged with burglary and grand larceny, the Post said.
