Queens Dems returned to Congress

CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 6
            ?Incumbent Congressmember Gregory Meeks managed to keep his seat with more than 84 percent of the votes. Meeks received 48,968 votes. His Republican challenger Asher Taub got 8,700 votes.
 
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 7
?Congressmember Joseph Crowley also retained his seat with nearly 80 percent of the votes. Crowley received 63,364 votes; Republican Ken Reynolds received 15,076 votes while Green Party candidate Anthony Gronowiz got 1,072 votes.
 
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 12
?Congressmember Nydia Velazquez won with more than 92 percent of the votes. Velazquez got 57,039 votes. Her Conservative opponent Alice Gaffney received 4,388 votes.
 
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 14

?Incumbent Congressmember Carolyn Maloneywon with more than 74 percent of the votes. Maloney received 72,566 of the votes. Republican challenger David Ryan Brumberg got 20,983 votes, Independent candidate Dino LaVerghetta got 1,791 and Conservative Timothy Healy received only 1,500 votes.
