BRIARWOOD — A Briarwood man was charged with attempted rape, forcible touching and assault charges after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a 15-year-old girl in his home, police said.
Cesar Guzman-Cordova, 24, of 147-01 Hillside Ave. in Briarwood, allegedly punched the girl several times in the face, removed her pants and tried to rape her at around 4 p.m. last Thursday before he was interrupted by another person, police said.
Guzman-Cordova then fled the scene but was arrested by officers in the Hillside Avenue-Sutphin Boulevard subway station, police said.
The girl was taken to Queens Hospital, where she was treated for swelling to her face, police said.
