Auction Outlet will make your home a dream

At Auction Outlet of Queens, dream homes are made into a reality by mixing, matching, and selecting everything from tiles and cabinets to doors and lighting fixtures.

“When the customer doesn’t know exactly what they’re looking for and we can help them find it, that really makes me happy,” said manager Arlene Kuchciki, who has been working with Auction Outlet for the past 36 years.

Located at 95-04 Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park, Auction Outlet has everything one needs in order to build or redesign one’s home, including a wide selection of tiles ranging from ceramic, porcelain, marble and vinyl – all imported from countries like Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and Turkey.

Auction Outlet also carries bathroom accessories, vanities, hardware, light fixtures, doors, lumber, and molding. Additionally, Auction Outlet delivers and does layouts of kitchens as well as assisting with measurements so customers get the correct amount of items needed.

“We also try and get some distributor or factory seconds which go well,” Kuchciki said. “If there’s a chip that can be repaired by a handyman, we get a good price on it and we usually have first quality and some seconds as well.”

Kuchciki said Auction Outlet is different than any other store like Home Depot or hardware store because customers get the best selection for the best prices. There is also a personal touch at Auction Outlet that other stores just cannot approach. The knowledgeable staff is there to help the customer, not confuse or frustrate them.

“You can come in here, order tiles and really have a good experience. That is what keeps us going and what has held up our reputation,” she said. “We sell it so inexpensive because that’s what people want and I like when people are happy when they leave.”

Auction Outlet is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit auctionoutletqueens.com or call 718-641-5872. – Alexa Mae Asperin
