The district manager for Community Board 12 is recuperating from serious injuries she suffered in a car accident last week.

Yvonne Reddick was still in the intensive care unit at Jamaica Hospital as of Monday afternoon, receiving treatment for broken ribs, hip damage and a lacerated liver, according to a member of the Community Board, which covers most of southeast Queens.

Reddick was getting into a cab on her way to work Thursday morning near the corner of 110th Avenue and 155th Street when a BMW SUV struck the vehicle and she was ejected, according to a law enforcement source.

Reddick, who has been with the board for more than 20 years, was in good spirits at the hospital, a CB 12 member said.

“She’s going to be OK, but she will be out for a while,” the board member said.

City Councilmen Ruben Wills (D-Jamaica), a former board member, and Leroy Comrie (D-St. Albans) both visited her in the hospital and also said she was doing well, according to Wills’ spokeswoman.
