Council, be cautious with pensions

With our City Council members raiding the public treasury for all kinds of programs and benefits, they should stop, pause and think for a moment.

There may not be enough money left to pay for their exorbitant pensions and health benefits when they and their fellow municipal — or should it be “munificent”? — political friends get ready to retire.
