Jeremy Lin is calling his rags-to-riches NBA story “a miracle from God”, adding that it is more than just a coincidence that everything is suddenly breaking right for him. “Anytime something like this happens, a lot of stuff has to be put into place, and a lot of it is out of my control,” the Knicks phenom point guard said on Tuesday. “If you look back at my story, doesn’t matter where you look, but God’s fingerprints are all over the place where there have been a lot of things that had to happen that I couldn’t control. First photo of tub where Whitney Houston died

The first photo of the hotel tub where Whitney Houston died has emerged. In the photo, shot shortly after her body was removed, the tub is still filled with water. There’s a gravy boat at the bottom of the tub; Houston typically put olive oil in one and put it in her bath to keep her skin soft, according to TMZ, which published the photo. Jennifer Hudson calls Whitney Houston tribute ‘the greatest honor of my life’

 

Jennifer Hudson stole the 54th annual Grammy Awards with her rendition of the Whitney Houston classic “I Will Always Love You.” Now the “American Idol” alum opens up about what it was like to sing the song just a day after Houston was pronounced dead after being found unconscious in her hotel bathtub. “‘It was the greatest honor of my life to be able to be the one to pay tribute to Whitney’s memory,” says Hudson, who gave an emotional performance of the song at the end of the Grammys in memoriam video montage. Cashman’s accused extorter to switch lawyers

The accused shake-down stalker of Yankees GM Brian Cashman was back in court today — to switch lawyers. The family of Louise Neathway, 35, is replacing her longtime defense lawyers with a retired judge from Westchester, a move which is delaying her next Manhattan Criminal Court appearance by two weeks, until March 7. That new date will now be the earliest Neathway would learn whether she has been indicted for allegedly extorting $6,000 from the married Brian Cashman — and trying to shake him down for thousands more — by threatening to go public with their affair. Staten Island 6th-grader stars in Grammy ad for Target

A Staten Island sixth-grader who sang at the Academy Awards with her school chorus is in the national spotlight again. Denise Bestman stars in a commercial for Target promoting the sale of British artist Adele’s hit album “21.” The spot debuted during the Grammy Awards where Adele won six awards. Denise is seen on a city bus singing “Rolling In The Deep.” She’s later joined by other girls on the bus. The song then transitions to Adele’s version. Read More: New York Post
