Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a two-alarm blaze at a co-op building in Kew Gardens Hills on Monday morning, Apr. 23, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the fire ignited at around 10:40 a.m. on the second floor of the apartment house located in the vicinity of 136th Street and 67th Road. Numerous FDNY units responded to the scene along with the 107th Precinct and EMS units. Three hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
