Energy Surveys for Woodhaven Shops

The Woodhaven Business Improvement District (WBID) has teamed up with Con Edison to provide free energy surveys for small businesses and stores along Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven. As noted, the program-which kicked off last Friday, Apr. 20-is designed to help shopkeepers find ways to become more energy efficient and cut electrical expenses. Shown during last Friday’s survey launch at the WBID/Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation (GWDC) offices are (from left to right) WBID Aide John Komninos, WBID/GWDC Executive Director Maria Thomson, Con Edison Energy Consultant Ron Tergesen and WBID Office Aide James DeMauro. Woodhaven businesses seeking to schedule a free energy survey are asked to call the WBID office at 1-718-805-0760 or the GWDC at 1-718-805-0202.
