FLUSHING — Police were looking for a man who stole a bag full of money and electronic devices from another man in North Shore-Long Island Jewish Center’s Franklin Hospital last Thursday.

Authorities said that around 2:50 p.m., a man about 30 to 35 years old entered the hospital, indicated to another man that he had a weapon and then demanded property. The man gave the perpetrator a bag with credit cards, an unknown amount of money, a cellphone and a camera inside, police said.

The suspect ran away and the victim was not hurt as a result of the robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 180 to 190 pounds, police said. He has a full beard and was wearing black sunglasses, a black knitted Tam type cap with red, yellow and green stripes near the top; a black polo shirt with white strips; and dark pants, police said.
