Cause Of Death Currently Unknown
A 39-year-old man was found dead by police outside a spice factory in Willets Point last Saturday night, July 21, it was reported.
The man, identified in published reports as Carlos Contreras of Corona, was found unconscious and unresponsive in front of the warehouse located on Willets Point Boulevard between 127th Street and 34th Avenue at around 11:20 p.m.
Members of the 110th Precinct responded to the scene along with EMS units, which pronounced the man dead at the scene.
His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
Law enforcement sources said that there were no apparent signs of trauma or visible signs of injury on Contreras.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
