Ebenezer Church, a missionary alliance church located in Long Island City, is moving into the large 41-20 Queens Blvd. space that was previously occupied by the Nakwon Reformed Church.
Ebenezer Church, based at 43-02 38th Street in LIC, is looking for a bigger space since its current location can only seat 250 attendees, according to Charlie Ampero, a senior pastor.
The church has 300 parishioners and expects its membership to grow
Ebenezer Church is expected to move into its new 500-seat space next month.
On Saturday, Ebenezer Church held a community service at L/Cpl Thomas P. Noonan Park in Sunnyside. Hundreds were in attendance, many of whom lined up to receive bags of free food.
