Deputy Inspector Michael Cody, commanding officer of the 104th Precinct, was promoted from the rank of captain during a ceremony at One Police Plaza in Manhattan last Thursday, Aug. 30. As noted, Cody arrived at the 104th Precinct in June 2011 after previously serving the NYPD with the Manhattan Gang Squad and other units in his 26-year career. He is pictured at his office in the 104th Precinct’s Ridgewood stationhouse.
