Wanted for Bank Robbery

Law enforcement agents have released this image of the man who held up a Middle Village bank last month and remains at large as of press time. According to police, the bandit-described as a white male between 35 and 40 years of age, standing between 6′- and 6’2-tall with a thin build and a pale complexion- used a demand note to steal cash from the Cross County Savings Bank at 80-10 Eliot Ave. at around 2:50 p.m. on Sept. 28. Members of the 104th Precinct responded to the incident; there were no injuries. The crook was last seen wearing thick glasses, a red wig, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a blue New York Yankees baseball cap. The NYPD Major Case Squad is investigating the heist, police said.
