The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying and locating two men wanted in connection with a gunpoint robbery in a Long Island City apartment building.
On Sunday, January 6, 2013, at approximately 1:50 a.m., two men entered 21-54 45th Ave. with one of the suspects displaying a black firearm. The suspects fled with cash, jewelry and cell phones. No one was injured.
The man carrying the gun has been described as a black male, 45-50 years of age, 5’8″ feet tall and 160lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a gray knit hat and wearing eye glasses.
The second man is a black man, between the ages of 27-33, 5’9″ feet tall and 230-250lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.
