The U.S. House of Representatives voted to approve the $51 billion in storm relief aid for the tri-state region, but there were 180 representatives who voted against it.
That is an absolute disgrace. Every representative should have voted yes for this much-needed and well-deserved relief aid. Those who voted against this should be voted out of office for their behavior.
Kudos to those representatives — Republican and Democrat — who voted for this bill. At least there is still some semblance of decency in our government.
