Baby Injured In F. Hills Inferno

Paramedics rushed a baby and an adult resident to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation during a one-alarm fire at a Forest Hills home early last Wednesday morning, Feb. 13, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze broke out at around 9:20 a.m. in the rear of the first- and secondfloors of a home on 62nd Drive near Yellowstone Boulevard. Responding to the scene (as listed in numerical order) were members of Engine companies 324, 289, 287, 305 and 319; Ladder companies 138, 136, 151 and 154; Squad Co. 288; Rescue 4 and Battalions 46 and 52-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 112th Precinct and EMS units. The infant and adult were expected to recover from their injuries. Two hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
