Bushwick Home Scorched by Flames

No injuries were reported after a one-alarm fire broke out at a Bushwick residence last Wednesday morning, Feb. 13, FDNY sources said. Reportedly, the blaze ignited at around 10:30 a.m. on the second-floor of a home on Cornelia Street near Evergreen Avenue. Among the units that responded to the blaze (listed in order of arrival) were Engine companies 277, 222 and 218; Squad companies 252 and 1; Ladder companies 112, 124 an 111; Rescue 2 and Battalions 37 and 28-under the direction of Division 15-along with the 83rd Precinct and EMS units. Fire Department sources noted that two hose lines were used by firefighters to extinguish the flames.
