A three-year-old died tragically over the weekend after she fell out of the window of her Woodside apartment, said police.
After the girl, Rusroshi Barua, fell from the 53-01 32nd Avenue building Sunday afternoon, she was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and was pronounced dead that evening.
According to ABC New York, Barua got locked inside her family’s sixth-floor bathroom along with her two-year-old sister, but her parents weren’t able to open the door before she fell.
Police told ABC New York that there were no bars on the window.
No criminality is suspected and the investigation is ongoing.
