Woodside Boy Found Dead in Bathtub, Police Are Investigating

Police are investigating the death of a 10-year-old boy who was found unconscious in the bathtub of his Woodside home Thursday evening.

Authorities responding to a 911 call found Farhan Talukder in the tub– at 59-29 Queens Boulevard–at about 5:30 p.m. He wasn’t breathing.

Emergency personnel rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
