Man dies at hospital after car hits tree in Rosedale

ROSEDALE — Police said a man was killed in a one-car accident Monday just after 6 p.m. on Francis Lewis Boulevard.

According to authorities, the 27-year-old man was traveling eastbound on the boulevard when he lost control of his 2007 Nissan Murano and struck a tree.

The man was taken to Franklin General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The identification of the victim is pending family notification.
