FLUSHING — Two Massachusetts residents were arrested in Flushing Monday night and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and intent to sell, according to the NYPD.
New Bedford, Mass., residents Jason Rodriguez, 26, and Larissa Monteiro, 26, were arrested near the corner of Elder Avenue and Colden Street — two blocks from a public school — with a large quantity of drugs in the car, police said.
The duo was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of marijuana with intent to sell, the NYPD said.
