Man dead after jumping in front of N train

A man committed suicide by jumping in front of an oncoming N Train Tuesday afternoon.

The victim, William Olbrys, 31, leaped onto the elevated tracks at the Broadway stop in Astoria as a southbound N train came into the station at about 4:30 pm. Witnesses saw his body parts strewn across the tracks and the street below (in the vicinity of 31st Street and Broadway).

The police did not find a suicide note but did find his wallet.
