She’s Crowned!

Astoria Woman Crowned Miss German-America Kristina Kren of Astoria was recently crowned Miss German-America 2013 during a ceremony held by the German-American Steuben Parade Committee of New York City. A graduate of Binghamton University, Kren was previously junior princess of the Steuben Day Parade in 2003. As Miss German-America, Kren receives the honor of riding the “Queen’s Float” during the 2013 Steuben Day Parade, which is scheduled to take place on Sept. 21 along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Kren is pictured receiving the crown from Miss German-America 2012, Kirsten Mueller, during the ceremony at Hofbrau Bierhaus NYC.
