The police have released a description of the man they believe was responsible for stabbing two men—one fatally– in Woodside Saturday morning.
The suspect, who is believed to be a livery driver, stabbed the two men after they tried to flag down his cab at 68-10 Roosevelt Ave at about 5 am. The driver, who refused to pick them up, got into a dispute with the two men—and stabbed them.
The police described the suspect as a male Hispanic or Asian, between 5’3″ and 5’8″, weighing between 120 lbs and 170 lbs. He has dark hair and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
One man, 26, was stabbed in chest, while the other, 33, in the torso. The driver then sped off in an older-model sedan.
The 26-year-old, who was identified as Isaac Martinez, was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital. The other man was listed in stable condition.
The police have released video of the vehicle leaving the scene.
