A Sunnyside liquor store is opening on 46th Street in a location that used to be occupied by a 99 cent store.
The store, located at 45-24 46th Street, will be called the Sunny Side Wine & Liquor Warehouse. The liquor store is likely to be large, since the retail space is nearly 3,000 sq ft.
The owner could not be reached for comment.
The store had been occupied by Grand 99 Cent Store until May 2012. However, it closed its doors claiming it did not earn enough to pay $17,000 in rent.
