JAMAICA – The New York Police Department was looking for suspects wanted in a string of commercial burglaries within the 102nd Precinct, cops said.
Police reported a total of four incidents along Jamaica Avenue, spanning from Aug. 24 to Sept. 10, and during the break-in, one or more suspects entered shops and allegedly stole cash from offices, ATMs and cash registers, the NYPD said.
The first burlgary occurred Aug. 24 around midnight at Tony’s Famous Pizza, and the second was the following weekend on Aug. 31 at the Richmond Hill Delicatessen around 12:30 a.m., cops said. A third break-in was reported on Sept. 9 around 10:30 p.m. at the Lizmelis Grocery, and the fourth was the following day – Sept. 10 – at El Cran Canario around 10:30 p.m., according to police.
Authorities released a surveillance video of two people they believe are suspects in the burglaries.
