Sunnyside Shines has revamped and upgraded its website.
The redesigned site, which went live today at http://www.sunnysideshines.org, aims to help small businesses, residents, and visitors learn more about what Sunnyside has to offer.
Sunnyside Shines, which was created to improve the business district in 2008, plans to use the site to promote events, initiatives and local businesses with a more user-friendly and contemporary interface.
The redesigned website aims to take advantage of Sunnyside Shines’ twitter and Facebook accounts. It will also hosts individual pages for each business located within the district.
“We are so pleased with the new website,” said Rachel Thieme, executive director of Sunnyside Shines, “and we are extremely grateful to the New York City Department of Small Business Services,” which funded the project.
“Having such a user-friendly site will allow us to better promote the vibrant businesses and activities happening in Sunnyside,” Thieme said.
