The NYPD has asked the public for help in finding an autistic teenager who was reported missing on Friday.
Avonte Oquendo, 14, was last seen at 12:38 p.m. on Friday, October 4, leaving Center Boulevard School, which is located at 1-50 51st Ave in Long Island City.
Oquendo was wearing a grey striped shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers. He is 5’3″, weighs 125-lbs, has black skin, and cannot verbally communicate.
Anybody with information regarding Oquendo has been asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
