Suspects in connection with a Jackson Heights heist more than a week ago are believed to have struck the same apartment again, cops said.

Two males armed with guns forced their way into a basement apartment in the neighborhood yesterday, posing as police officers to get the victims to open the door, authorities said.

They tied up one adult male and then shot another male victim in the leg before fleeing the scene empty handed, according to police.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD believe the male perpetrators are two of four male Hispanic suspects that are wanted in connection with a robbery on July 23 at around 5:15 p.m. in the same basement apartment.

In that case the men entered through an unlocked front door with a gun and demanded money. After the theft they fled the scene without injuring any victims.

Police are still investigating both crimes.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents are asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
