Glendale School Shared the Spirit of Giving

The third-graders at Sacred Heart School in Glendale (left) made some Christmas a little brighter (and warmer) for some by donating pajamas to Hour Children, a Long Island City-based non-profit that provides services to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their families. In the right photo, second-graders sent a care package-including snacks, games and personal items-to an American serviceman from Mississippi who was stationed in Afghanistan over Christmas.
