RICHMOND HILL — A 64-year-old woman is facing up to five years in jail after she pleaded guilty earlier this week to stabbing her boyfriend to death last year, authorities said.
Shirley Forbes, who had a long rap sheet, admitted she stabbed her live-in boyfriend Lee Burrison, 55, inside their home in April.
She pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter before Queens Supreme Court Justice Dorothy Chin-Brandt, who indicated she would give Forbes five years in jail and three years’ supervision at sentencing, which is scheduled for Feb. 24.
