A new women and children’s boutique is moving into the ground floor of TF Cornerstone’s 45-45 Center Boulevard building.
The store, called mimi&mo, will occupy approximately 1250 sqf. and will primarily cater to women and children under the age of six.
It is expected to open early April, selling a range of items—from the latest fashion to non-traditional items.
The clothing store will be on the same floor as New York Kids Club, a 5,000 sqf. pre-school center that is expected to open in September.
“Our boutique will reflect the unique culture and fun spirit of the neighborhood with products that have been hand-selected for the stylish women and children of Long Island City,” said Miriam Zeldovich, who is the founder and owner of mimi&mo, in a statement.
The store will carry specialty brands such as: Equipment, Smythe, Current Elliott, Frye and Small Frye, Happy Socks, Nununu, and Mini Rodini, among others.
“We look forward to serving the community and becoming a specialty destination for residents and visitors alike,” Zeldovich, a Long Island City resident, said.
mimi&mo will be the first clothing boutique to open on Center Boulevard.
The store plans to provide special orders and same-day delivery within the neighborhood.
The boutique will also maintain wish lists that allow parents to pre-select products that others can purchase for birthdays and holidays.
