Police Seek Perpetrator In Late-Night Stickup

Law enforcement agents need the public’s help in finding the gun-toting suspect who robbed a livery cab driver in Glendale early last Wednesday morning, May 14, it was reported.

The suspect wanted for recently robbing a livery cab driver in Glendale.

Police said the robbery occurred at about 2 a.m. in front of a home on 67th Place between Central and Myrtle avenues.

According to authorities, the livery cab driver picked up the suspect sometime earlier at the corner of Marcy Avenue and Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Upon arriving at the Glendale location, it was reported, the crook displayed a firearm and demanded money from the driver. After taking $200 in cash, police said, the bandit exited from the cab and fled in an unknown direction.

The incident was later reported to the 104th Precinct; the driver was not injured.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male believed to be 25 years old with short hair and a goatee.

The investigation is ongoing.
