Sex Abuse Suspect Still On Lam

Police continue to seek the man who molested two women inside the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst last Thursday afternoon, Sept. 4, it was reported.

Law enforcement sources said the incidents occurred at about 3 p.m. at a clothing store inside the shopping center at 90-15 Queens Blvd.

Reportedly, the suspect first approached a 25-year-old female employee, placed his hands on her legs and grabbed her genitalia over her clothing.

Police said he then fled away from the woman and confronted a second female five minutes later.

Authorities said he then placed his arm around the waist of the second victim, a 34-year-old woman, and began rubbing his groin over her buttocks. Both the victim and suspect were clothed at the time.

Following the second attack, police noted, the perpetrator fled in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 110th Precinct responded to the scene.

Law enforcement agents described the perpetrator as a Hispanic male with dark hair between 30 and 35 years of age, standing 6’1″-tall and weighing between 200 and 230 lbs.

Reportedly, he was last observed carrying a briefcase and wearing a blue varsity jacket with red sleeves, black sunglasses, dark jeans, white sneakers, a black baseball cap and a white scarf.
