Sunnyside is going to have plenty of activities on offer Saturday—from three Oktoberfest events to a recycling event.
Sunnyside Gardens Park, located at 48-21 39th Ave, is hosting its eighth annual Oktoberfest celebration from noon through 5 p.m. The event will include a pumpkin patch, live music and vendors selling arts & crafts.
All Saints Church will be hosting its 24th Annual Pumpkin Fair on 46th Street (btw. Queens Blvd and 43rd Avenue) from 11 a.m through 6 p.m.
The Skillman Project, which consists of a number of bars/restaurants on Skillman Avenue, will be hosting its third annual Oktoberfest bar crawl event, starting at Claret Wine Bar from 3:00 p.m until late.
A Stop & Swap event will be taking place at the Sunnyside Community Services Center (43-31 39th St.) from noon to 3 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring along clean used portable items (no furniture) and take something home for free.
WESPAW pets, located at 44-05 Queens Blvd, will be sponsoring a cat/kitten adoption event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the store.
