The NYPD is seeking the suspect pictured at right who is wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of an Elmhurst man at a neighborhood apartment house last month. Police said Mukesh Patel, 50, was stabbed multiple times in the chest inside the lobby of an apartment house on Broadway near St. James Ave. at about 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 22. The suspect, whose image was captured by a nearby security camera, is described by authorities as a white male last observed wearing a white tshirt, dark colored shorts and black sneakers.
