Harvest Festival at Christ the King

Christ the King Campus in Middle Village hosted its annual Harvest Festival for the children of the community daycare as well as its pre-k students. The youngsters spent the day playing games, pumpkin picking, face painting and enjoying bouncy rides and a petting zoo. All members of the campus participated in making the day an enjoyable experience. Older students were on hand to help children enjoy the festivities. Students from Middle Village Preparatory Charter School, which is located on the campus, came into the day care and pre-k classes to teach a lesson about farm animals before all the festivities began. “The Harvest Festival is a collaboration amongst all the members of the CK Campus,” said President Michael Michel. “Events such as this bring together the different programs within the campus, thus creating a close community environment for all.”
