Rego Park Scout Soars to Top Rank

A long-time member of Boy Scout Troop 119 received the highest rank a scout can receive during a ceremony at St. Margaret Parish Center in Middle Village last Saturday, Oct. 4. Nicholas Wunsch of Rego Park recently received the Eagle Scout rank; the junior at Regis High School in Manhattan earned the badge for his community service project. Wunsch coordinated the repainting of 700 linear feet of fencing surrounding Painter’s Park near P.S. 174 in Rego Park. Among those on hand to honor the scout were State Sen. Joseph Addabbo and scoutmasters Rich Faur and John Magnowski.
