A driver suffered minor burns after his car burst into flames on the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Glendale last Saturday night, Nov. 20, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze broke out at around 11 p.m. on the parkway near Myrtle Avenue. Members of Engine Co. 233, Ladder Co. 176, Battalion 28, the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The injured driver was brought to a local hospital for treatment of injuires not considered life-threatening.
