A suspect has been charged with the murder of a Brooklyn man who was shot to death in Queens Village this summer, police said.
Jeffery Demosthene, 23, allegedly shot 22-year-old Najee Simmons about 3 a.m. on August 31 at the corner of Jamaica Avenue and 217th Street, according to the NYPD.
Simmons, who suffered a gunshot wound to the upper back, was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
