A man broke into two Queens businesses by cutting a hole in the roof and taking off with cash and other merchandise, police said.
The first burglary took place on Jan. 31 at 99 Cents Deal, located on Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill, cops said. After entering the business, the suspect stole cash.
On Feb. 5, the suspect took lottery tickets, calling cards and cash from the Super Pioneer Supermarket on 111th Avenue in South Ozone Park, police said.
The NYPD has released a photo of the suspect from the second break-in.
