A suspect is wanted for stealing a woman’s purse in Astoria after threatening her with a knife, police said.
The 36-year-old victim was walking near 38th Street about 1:35 a.m. on March 16 when the suspect approached her from behind, cops said. He then displayed a knife and fled in a black vehicle with the woman’s purse.
No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery, according to authorities.
